Prayer and Spirituality
Adoration of the
Most Blessed Sacrament
Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration is the adoration of Jesus Christ present in the Holy Eucharist. People come to pray and worship Jesus continually throughout the day and often at night. Our Adoration Chapel is Open 24 hours a day / 7 days a week to all who wish to encounter the Lord.
If you would like to volunteer one hour per week or want more for information, contact
Mary Jo Mercier at 386-846-1538 or email email@example.com.
Substitutes are also invited and encouraged.
This movement helps lay people discover and achieve their calling to live and share what is fundamental to being Christian. Cursillo is a three-day short course retreat in Christian living; Ultreya is a monthly follow-up meeting. Ultreya meets at 6:00 PM every second Monday of the month.
For more information, contact Judy Neely at 386- 295-7983 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Our community prays together the following devotions:
The Rosary, Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Novena, the Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and the Divine Mercy Chaplet after Mass. All are invited to share in prayer.
See our current bulletin for schedule.
Centering Prayer is a method of prayer which prepares us to receive the gift of God's presence. Gatherings are held weekly on
Wednesday mornings at 9:15 AM in Parish House #2.
For more information on centering prayer,
visit the Contemplative Outreach of Central Florida.
Liturgy of the Hours:
Each morning, Monday through Saturday at 8:00am before morning Mass, we pray Morning Prayer from the Liturgy of the Hours, the Universal Prayer of the Church. The Church considers this prayer to be second in importance only to the Mass itself. The Second Vatican Council has encouraged Lay people to also pray this beautiful liturgy. We invite all who are interested to join with us and we will be happy to assist any who are unfamiliar with the service.
At present we say the Morning Prayer in the Church.
